2023 Lake Forest Fury B2014

Here’s part two from my Saturday with the Lake Forest Fury. The first post was the 2011 boys, but the 2014 boys are a younger and play on a smaller field. I’d been here once before to shoot my son when he played for FC Golden State, a really nice facility at the northern end of the city. Just before the game started we pulled the team over to where I had set up my flashes for a quick group shot. Sean was wearing his new shoes and mine were mostly dry after I had stuck them in a local friend’s dryer for about 20 minutes! The game was mostly overcast with bright sun popping through only a couple of times. At this level the team didn’t have a dedicated goalie and four different boys played the position.
