2022 El Dorado Football LUCAS

Here’s Lucas, Defensive End and Tight End. In the first game of the season I got that shot of Lucas running past me after a catch. I didn’t realize at that time that there would not be many chances for me to get him with the ball. The Hawks had 4 or 5 very good receivers and as the season went on the passes went to those guys. Lucas playing defensive end was more critical to the team’s success. His strength, speed, and leadership is perfect for the position. It’s a battle in the trenches and there is no reason for him to spend energy running routes on offense when he plays such a key role on defense. Lucas is a senior and leaves a big hole to fill.
