2021 Orange Lutheran Senior KIAN

Here’s a great one! I’ve often thought about shooting in a studio setting, and had a few local rental places bookmarked for years. When mom asked if I could shoot Kian on some solid backgrounds it was the push I needed. Because there was a two hour minimum in the studio, I asked a few kids to come by ended up booking the studio for six hours! I’ve shot Kian in action a few times, the earliest was in 2009 playing Placentia Pony Baseball. Twelve years from first shot to Senior shots, aside from my own kids that is the current record! I’d miss a great opportunity to share a great post if I didn’t mention I’ve shot Kian’s sister Gianna quite a bit too. As far as how it went in the studio I could not have asked for a better model to break it in. The kid is a pro, changing poses with each snap of the camera. Good poses too, not just facial expressions. Kian would return to the studio for my second day there, this time with all the seniors from his high school team.
