2012 12U Courage Softball

This was my first travel softball game, they last about an hour and a half. Afterwards I was talking with one of the parents camped out under a tree and they had been at the park all day, with still another game to play. On this Sunday each team played three games, but her daughter's team was playing a fourth because another team couldn't do their third game. That's SIX hours of game time, and more softball if they warm up! Parents be warned. I was here for Makenna, your typical All-Star catcher who doubles as an elite Club Soccer goalie. Also playing was Emily who, along with Makenna, played in the very first softball game I ever shot. The 8U Bolts against the Pink Panthers seems like forever ago!
