2025 Canyon Track & Field Photo Day

Probably the most daunting shoot of the year. Thankfully Coach Brian and his team take it upon themselves to seat and arrange everyone on the bleachers for the group shot. I counted them, 205 in this photo, up from 149 just two years ago! I balance my two 600 watt flashes on mega tall stands (I was compelled to buy the mew set up after the first time I shot this group) on top of a double decker bench and even then I am on my tip toes to get the best shot. We were under he threat of rain for most of the shoot and you can even see sprinkles in a few of the kid’s photos. We also had some difficult wind and I had to send more than a dozen shots to an editor for Hair Repair! By the time we got to the team photo we had sun poking through, but it still needed plenty of polish. Last night I had a great time shooting the Senior Ceremony for these kids and will have it’s own post eventually. Here is the 2025 Canyon Track & Field Gallery (CLICK).
