2024 SAC Basketball SELENA

Selena again! I shot her as a freshman last year at Santa Ana College, this year I wanted to make sure to go to a road game so I could get a different jersey than last year. I didn’t want them to look too similar side by side! This was at Fullerton College, my first time in this gym and I really liked it there. Tiny but with good light and plenty of room for me to go where I wanted. As it turned out, Selena was matched up against a couple ex-teammates from El Dorado with Kaylee and Amya playing for the Hornets. She played great and hit some big buckets. Before the game I was preparing my camera next to a few guys with stat sheets and I asked to see the rosters. he asked who was I there to shoot and when I told him Selena he rattled off some of her stats from memory. He was from the Sportscasters Class at the college along with a handful of kids. They rotated each quarter broadcasting the game on web radio. Pretty cool!
