2024 AC Brea Soccer GRETEL

It’s Gretel again! I went to a home game at Brea Sports Park and then made the trip to Irvine to get her and Sami in the black jerseys. I popped in for about 30 minutes another weekend and didn’t see Gretel on the field or bench, and then I did. She was under the tent but bundled up in sweats and near a set of crutches. That’s why I try to get to games ASAP, because you never know. Gretel takes the corner kicks for Brea and when I was at Irvine the ball went out of for a corner near where I was. Gretel came over to set up her kick and discovered I was there, and gave me a big smile… while the camera was AT MY SIDE. Ha. These shots are from the first half of the season, the league goes dark during high school season. Well they have resumed and just posted they are 17U Champions of the California Regional League and headed to Hawaii for the next level. Congratulations!
