2023 Santiago Collage Volleyball CAMERON

It’s the Cameron Finale. His second year at SCC. This one was tough to schedule and when the day came to shoot, I had not remembered that the game was relocated from SCC to Orange Coast. I drove around Santiago but the whole place was shut down, then I called mom and I was reminded. Duh. Good thing I like to arrive early, you never know. When I walked into the gym in Costa Mesa the score was 5-5, a small miracle really. As soon as I got the camera out I took that center shot of a Cam lunging. Love it when that happens. The Pirates are the defending champions and at times the body language showed it on both sides. Down 0-2 I didn’t think we’d see much celebrating, but the boys rallied and took the third set on a Cameron spike. No fist pumping then but surely some satisfaction in prolonging the match.
