2023 El Dorado Soccer GRETEL

Along with Edie, here’s another one expected to see the varsity field next year. Gretel made a big impression last year on the freshman team. I think the other girls just really loved saying her name. Truth. I remember hearing it over and over calling for passes or acknowledging plays. This year less or maybe I’m desensitized now. Ha. The JV team is pretty much all the girls from last year’s Freshman team, even the coaching bumped up. Gretel was given the Team MVP Award and it’s easy to see why. She controls the tempo of the offense and the organizes the middle of the field, and knowing she’s on patrol is a calming presence for her team.
