2022 Villa Park Soccer RYLIE

Here’s Rylie making a big splash as a freshman at Villa Park. Lots of accolades on her poster, and deserved! Rylie plays it a little different than most. She will work herself into the corners and with her back protecting the ball from defenders she makes only the slightest movements to check her options, looking for her teammates or an open lane to dive and shoot. It doesn’t matter what the pace of the game is, when she gets the ball the game is now at her pace, she’ll attack when she’s ready. She often will convert the play into a shot or a pass for a chance for a teammate. Since VP went deep into CIF I shot them multiple times and a photographer buddy of mine came out shoot with me one night. That last shot is his with me in it, so on this page I make my first blog appearance! Ha.
