2022 Esperanza Senior GEORGIA

Sob. I know they’re technically not MY kids but I’m attached dang it. I’ve shot Georgia for a long time, ten years plus. Not just here and there, but regularly. I‘ve taken a boatload of great Georgia photos, but my favorite is because of the memory more than the perfect shot. 2012, She was the smallest girl on a softball all-star team. One game I went to I watched all these eight year old sluggers milk a bunch of walks and since BALL the pitcher was obviously struggling BALL they didn’t swing at the good ones either, knowing BALL a free base was inevitable. Of course the bases were loaded when little Georgia stepped in. Since I was shooting each pitch I was bored out of my mind. I was certain she was looking for the RBI walk but she wasn’t! She smacked it a liner the managed to split the flower pickers in the outfield, close to where I was! An all-star grand slam. Coach (Mom!) was at home plate for the hug and I got the smile.
