2022 El Dorado Cross Country

Three Team Deals in a row! That’s not common but with cross country, track, and swimming it makes a lot of sense. Each kid is only going to get a couple photos as they pass me and hopefully they aren’t drifting and hidden behind another runner! I shot El Dorado Cross Country a couple times including last year, so I thought I had a good idea where to be and then I find out they reconfigured the course! Since I can’t take a photo and then run ahead for another, I have to find a close spot on the course for when the kids pass a second or third time without making it exactly like the previous race. I had a buddy come along and he shot in different spots too. The trick is to make the photo somewhat pretty since it’s in a park, and at the same time don’t shoot the runners when they hit the pavement because their cheeks drop and running faces can be rough!
