2021 El Dorado Soccer LAUREN

I’ve been looking forward to this one… for a few years! I’ve seen Lauren play before, it’s been a while but I wasn’t surprised to see her on the varsity team as a freshman. She has a nose for the net and the speed to get her there. She’s not on the team just to get a taste of varsity, she’s a big part of the team right NOW. That bottom right shot is Lauren’s first varsity goal against El Modena, a play where she had a hot pass come to her at about the forty yard line and rather than stop it she let it pass her and turned and burned (below). She beat the three defenders to the ball, leaving one in the dust. The goalie slid out and got a piece of the shot but the ball clanked off the near post where Lauren was in perfect position to tap it in to the vacated net.
