2021 El Modena Prom

This one was a lot of fun too! My fourth prom this season. Galleries for El Dorado, Yorba Linda, and Canyon are already posted. This was at the same place as the Canyon Prom, the AV in Irvine. Really neat venue and a lot going on everywhere. I pretty much stayed out of the Balloon Room this time, the kids all use their own phones for much more spontaneous photos and their time is limited in there. After about 90 minutes of shooting the kids as they arrived I headed out to the main room. I hit the fringes and also shot the crowd from the stage. A few times a nice little mosh pit would get roaring and I popped down into it for a bit. I may or may not been slam dancing when my hat got knocked off, but I got some great shots in there!
