2021 El Dorado Football GAVEN

Time is marching right along. Hard to believe 2021 was my sixth year shooting Gaven and his teammates. A few years with the Rattlers, and the last few with the Hawks. I have seen him make some incredible catches and this last season I was just a few feet from him when he swiped a ball right out of a bewildered defender’s hands in the end zone for a touchdown. Easily a Top Five Play this year, never give up and always be thinking ahead! This season was Run Heavy and Pass Light for the Hawks, and that meant Gaven wasn’t thrown to as often as we’d all like. He did get plenty of touches as the main return man, and even got the occasional hand off on the end around play, but we know his strength is catching the football even when it looks like it can’t be caught! Next year will have a new Quarterback and since not all quarterbacks can run like Blake, possibly a new attack strategy. Here is Gaven’s junior year football gallery (CLICK). B
