2020 Esperanza Senior SADIE

Holy moly. How do I properly close the book on Sadie? For starters I would not have the relationships with all my softball families if not for Sadie and her mom Denise. To carry that further, without the boost I got from softball in those early years, I would not have seriously pursued photography. So a pretty big chapter here. I’ve shot Sadie so many times, certainly as much as anyone. From softball to soccer culminating with her CIF volleyball championship this year, and now her “all grown up” photos. Without a doubt my biggest lockdown disappointment is that I did not get to shoot her senior softball season, but I did shoot the team photos and got to design her Senior Banner. It’s not full closure though, sporty sister Georgia is a junior next year, and brother Troy still has plenty of good years left. She is off to Amherst College in the fall where she will continue with softball and sadly grow up even more. Ha. We did her senior session at Shapell Park and I could not remember if I had shot her playing there. Turns out I have and I even had one of her in those same dugouts from ten years ago!
