2020 El Dorado Graduation

Here’s something different! I set up a platform at the exit of El Dorado’s Drive Thru Graduation and took pictures if anyone wanted them. I had 30 prepaid kids to look for and those parents received the digital file and a second version with a commemorative border. This gallery price list is simple. Print orders will get polished and are either 4x5 or 8x10. Folks who order the digital file will also get a personalized frame version - be sure to send me your kid’s name! ADDED: Since this IS a blog and I like to share behind the scenes stuff here, I will add a few notes. Discovering people actually read these shocked me too. Ha. This day started pretty rough and I almost pulled the plug on it. Things were rolling pretty well, when about an hour in I was told not to let people out of the cars because it was causing a back up and there were complaints. In retrospect I should have suggested removing one barricade so people could simply leave the line, because most wanted to pose with their kid. Soon after that I got sick, two good episodes. Almost packed it in but powered through thanks to my helper Makenna taking over at times. Through it all I we kept a good flow. When people asked if they could get out I checked the line and if there weren’t more than two cars, I told them “Only if you hurry.” It worked well and for the rest of the day we kept the line moving. I will also add that some of the “through the window” shots are my favorites! B
