2020 Canyon Soccer LAUREN

My goodness, I may have taken my last my photo of Lauren! If so we had a good run. I first shot her on the CHSA 2009 Riptide, but it wasn’t until 2010 when she played for Canyon United that I started shooting her regularly. With that team I put together one of my first trading card sets. Lauren’s favorite movie was “Yogi Bear”, it says so on her card! In her home hangs one of the earliest Sloppy’s Painted Canvases. She’s always played a conservative defensive spot, slowing down attacking players with her positioning. Defending isn’t glamorous, but I remember in the 2011 Turkey Shoot she scored and how excited all the parents and teammates were for her (below). Super cute!
