2020 The Hogan Family
I always like giving you a little back story in these posts, especially if it’s personal. I know this family because mom Jeanette was my daughter’s school aide for four or five years, maybe longer. My wife keeps track of dates, not me. However I do know she was fantastic at the job, and Emily loves her and her family. After she moved on from Emily, we stayed close and she often stepped in and helped Emily with extracurricular stuff, choir rehearsals, field trips, etc. One of my proudest moments was when Emily made Honor Roll at Kraemer. At the evening ceremony Emily needed help walking on stage to receive the award, I held one hand and Jeanette held the other. Truth be told that award should have had Jeanette’s name on it somewhere! (I found a photo, below.) When her daughter Chloe graduated a few years ago I got to do her yearbook page layout, an honor to help! On to the shoot. Fourteen is my biggest group, fifteen if you count Nanook the dog. I’ve learned that groups over six require a tripod because there will be closed eyes, hair in faces, squirming kids, etc. and sometimes you need a lot of source material to put a single image together. That’s all just more back story so I can tell you that on this page is probably the best Photoshop work I have ever done. Worth the effort and just a small token of appreciation for the hard and challenging work Jeanette put in everyday. (Thank you!) Here’s a few favorites. B
