2018 Long Beach Bocce Ball

Another old one that’s been waiting for some attention. This is my daughter’s Special Olympics Bocce Ball Team. This is from the Orange County Games in Long Beach. She’s been doing this for a few years and has a couple years left before she ages out. This year her teammates were Allie, Stephanie, and Noah. They are called the Wingos because some one made a sign a few years ago that said, “WIN GO!” except there was very little space between the words and someone asked, “what’s a Wingo?” and it stuck. The first couple years it was all girls aka Bocce Babes, but this year’s version (t-shirts made!) is Noah & the Bocce Babes.
