2019 12U USA Athletics / Davis

Here’s a monster gallery. I’ve commented before about how much a second game adds to your package, and here’s more proof. I shot these girls at Bill Barber Park in Irvine and then came back the next day for a game at Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley. Same girls, but different fields, lighting, uniforms, and different vantage points… and different hair for some! As a matter of fact when I first walked up for the second game, I thought I was at the wrong field because from a distance I saw three girls I didn’t recognize right away. I would’ve recognized Ariana or Mia right off though, I’ve been shooting them forever! Of course they all looked a little different in red, but Izzy wore a different jersey number, and Tiara let her hair OUT and Skylar reigned hers in. I even asked one of the moms if they had new girls. Ha. The girls went to International Tie Breaker, plated two and held on to beat Explosion. It wasn’t without drama though, runners everywhere and one out when Miracle snagged a hot grounder, tagged third and threw to Skylar at first for the game ending double play. Good stuff.
