2019 PYLGSA 8U Blue All-Stars

Here’s one we squeezed in just at the end of their season. This was a match up against the gold team from Fullerton Hills at Lion’s Field. The girls were in the gold bracket making a pitch to qualify for the next tournament at States. The PYL girls ran into a buzz saw pitcher on Fullerton and I think they were a little surprised at the velocity and accuracy. There wasn’t going to be many walks, they’d have to hit the heat if they wanted to score some runs. They lost this game, but had another matchup later in the day that the coaches felt much better about. For me, I’d love to see a win but really I’m just hoping to get some good photos. As it turns out they DID win out the rest of the weekend and DID qualify for states. I just dropped off the package of goodies and coach says he thinks they may be the only Blue/Silver team that qualified. They play first game in Lancaster this Friday at 7:45am!

This set ended up at 520 with an average of 35 photos per girl, which is really good considering we only got through the lineup once plus a couple batters. They are obviously a strong group and with nine of the girls being brand new to me, I’m glad I got to shoot some fresh faces. With the Team Package each kid gets a CDs of her files, including some Sloppy’s Specials and a 5x7 Trading Card Print (below). All the photos are polished and in an online gallery without watermarks, free downloads, and dirt cheap pricing on novelties and extra prints.
