2019 Anaheim Surf CHRIS

Here’s one! I shot this one out at Silverlakes in Norco, Individual Packages for Chris and Bradley. Whenever I’m shooting a goalie there’s always the concern that he may not see much action, maybe the ball will stay in the offensive half most of the game. As it turned out that was not a problem. Downtown LA came ready to play and controlled the game which was bad for Surf, but good for Goalie photos. Including Sloppy’s Specials, I ended up with 79 images in this gallery. Chris is aggressive and fun to shoot because you know he’s going to go all out to make the save. I don’t remember the final score, but it could have been a lot worse if not for Chris. The diving save in the bottom right is probably my favorite shot. It was late in the game, they were obviously going to lose and his team was fatigued. The ball squirted out to the high slot to a wide open forward who laid into it. Ticketed for the bottom corner but Chris laid out full stretch and got just enough for the save, giving !00% until the end. Great stuff. With his package Chris gets a 16x20 print of his collage and a CD of all his polished photos, including a bunch of specials.
