2019 El Dorado Varsity Water Polo (W)

Here’s a small gallery from a couple of visits to the El Dorado pool. With both of these games I was at El Dorado for either soccer or basketball and I tried to squeeze in some bonus action. With the men’s water polo (CLICK) I had some good sun to work with but later starts and earlier winter sunsets, the girls did not get nearly as much light and as a result, fewer photos. It’s really no contest. Photography is all about the light. The CIF matchup vs. Montebello was under the lights by the second half and I shot in RAW, which I rarely do. It allows me to keep a slightly higher shutter speed by under exposing everything on purpose, and then playing with exposure later. So if you see something you like that’s dark, I can lighten it.

This is a Preview Gallery so you can see what I have. While all of the photos have been cropped, only a handful of photos have been polished for color, brightness, or whatever else they may need. All ordered photos will get the Sloppy's Treatment before they are sent out. I removed the duds, so if it’s in the gallery I believe it will be a good photo. I have a before and after below so you know what to expect. I just don't have time to shine up everything beforehand.
