2020 Mission Viejo JV Soccer (M)

I drove down to Mission Viejo to shoot Daniel, a kid I’ve shot since he was knee high. Last year he was at El Toro High School and I was there for a visit too. This visit was a dud from the start, for a photographer anyway. It seems the Freshman Team took the red jerseys so the JV Team had to wear pinnies. Good grief that will virtually kill all sales. Since I had already looked at the Diablos schedule and figured I likely wouldn’t be back, I stuck around for the half. The sun dipped behind the bleachers at halftime, so that’s two strikes. No jerseys and no sun. As I was leaving someone arrived with a box of red jerseys. Too late bro, Sloppy wants a coffee. As with recent Capistrano Valley and El Toro posts I am trying to expand my reach a little so I’m chalking this visit up to exposure points.
