2018 Yorba Linda Senior MEREDITH

Here's Meredith. I've liked her for a long time. I remember in 2011 I was shooting her sister Sarah's Spitfire team in Orange. Warm ups had just ended and she was sitting with a teammate's older sister, Rachel. We had some small talk and she asked me which girl was mine. I explained I was just the photographer, although I do have a daughter. "Same age as you in fact." She went on to ask me about her and we talked for a bit, and she had genuine empathy for Emily. I was just so impressed by both girls and their maturity at maybe ten years old. I've shot her on the softball diamond plenty over the years, but sadly she has played her last game. We took a pile of pictures and it was difficult to narrow it down to present to the family. I like to think it was my skills, but it was Meredith's smile. We shot despite the threat of rain earlier in the day and I think we won that battle. Lots of cool looks with the sky and the sunset was great. Here's the set, and here's a few favorites.
