2018 Esperanza Softball VIVIANA

Wow, and so it begins. I've known some softball players who graduated the last couple of years, but this year is very different. This class is the first one that I'm losing girls that I'm really vested in. When I started I did a lot more of the youngers than the olders and I've been following them until now. Not feverish, but a couple times a season. So here's Viviana. Hard to believe I've probably shot her for the last time. She's great. She's always having fun and stirring the pot. Last season she missed home plate and was called out or something like that. So she decided to be the team's Bat Boy and went and picked up every bat for the next few innings and every time she picked up a bat she stepped hard on home plate. Eventually the umpire gave her a nice fat warning. It was fantastic and her dugout loved it. That's her style. The collage here has a good mix of hitting, fielding, and running in both home and away uniforms. I tossed in a couple shots from practice for added variety and a to add some fun.
