2017 The Bonnet Family

This one's great! It was planned for months and then after it finally happened it took just as long to decide on which photos would get get the polish. And now, it's taken me months to share it! Ha. I believe the whole thing was a present so I didn't want to share it until it was all settled. All I know is, I could not be happier. I shy away from bigger groups, as a matter of fact I probably have put off family portraits because one of my first chaotic experiences was with a large family. I thought I could just show up at the park and kill it, but that's not what happened. We couldn't arrange everyone in these limited spots and there was this whole list of photo combos, you know... Auntie with Jimmy, Auntie with Jimmy and just his boys, one without Jimmy and just the boys, etc. It was a favor gig, the sun was setting, and I was a sweaty stressed out mess. There was a little of that here, but I was prepared with a helper, a plan, and some flashes. I met the family years ago when our daughters were in the same kindergarten, but schools changed and I didn't really get to know them until we got reacquainted through softball. I still shoot the girls, although Lanie is graduating this year! Here's a few favorites. B
