2018 The Andeel Family

This turned out amazing. The sun is setting so early now and we couldn’t get started until late. I got to the location ahead of the family and scouted potential backdrops but the buildings were blocking the last bits of sun. I knew we’d have to use flashes but I don’t usually whip those out until the end, kind of as bonus photos. We fired in a bunch of spots, shuffled and shot again. This won’t work with most families because most need multiple takes. I shot the Andeels back in 2014, and dang four years is a long time… look at those baby faces! I’ve definitely gotten more comfortable doing portraits since then too. With edit variations, this 2018 set has 76 images in it. Here’s a few favorites. B
