2014 PPB Pinto Mets

Squeaked this one out just before the season ended. Probably the baseball field that gives me the most trouble, SB1 at Tuffree. On a weeknight 5pm start time, the trees are just too thick and tall, making half the field very dark. When my kid plays there I keep the camera in the bag. When another team comes calling, I gotta make it work! After a couple innings I packed in the 100-400 and switched to the 70-200, a lot better lighting but not how I like to shoot daytime baseball. Color is also a problem when you're shooting extreme shade and bright sun. I had to do some tricks to make some pictures worthy of posting, some black and white, some smooth filtering, whatever helped.
