2013 Spring JUSA BU08 Galaxy

Brookhaven Elementary, Placentia. - Another quickie, about 50 photos. I like this field a lot in the morning, but not at 4pm. It's intimate, and is the smallest of the 8U fields I can think of. Which is great, except when the sun starts setting and the tall trees cover a third of the field in shadow. And since I prefer to shoot each team as they come to the light, most of the action is midfield or defensive. These boys have skills that just don't get used on this tiny field. It was very bunchy, which is fine for most rec teams but not for this particular game. Both of these teams ramped up to U9 signature level and a bigger pitch this fall.
