2012 The Thomas Family

I'm sure I will do more of these and I'll get better each time. This one was rough because I was using a brand new camera and lens, I mean BRAND NEW, as in just out of the box. All the buttons were different and I was a mess. I thought I could just google to find a great secret spot, but I guess photographers keep their secret spots SECRET! So not only did I not have a location but Dad is a football coach and was scheduled to shave his head the next day along with the team. There would be no make ups! I'm not even sure if my processing style will work with portraits! So I felt some pressure. In retrospect I probably shouldn't have told anyone I was taking this on. Shooting sports action I either get it or I don't, move on to the next pitch. All in all I had fun and I think I came away with a couple of frame worthy wall pieces. Thanks to Stacey and Troy for being my guinea pigs, the kids were great.
